I’m on a real weird internet journey today. I can’t explain it. It started off like any other day on the internet for me but quickly transformed into, what I’m now realizing is, THE weirdest day of interneting for Katie Illidge. I’m bouncing around the web like a beach ball at a Nickelback concert! If you know me IRL, have been reading this for awhile, or have just been on the unfortunate receiving end of gchat when I’m knuckle deep into youtube, you will understand the magnitude of what I’m saying right now.

Notable internet things done on 12/29/11:

• Discovered the video above. Wish I had learned Spanish so I could understand just what in the fuck is happening. Whatever it doesn’t matter, I don’t need to know Spanish to know that kid is levitating somewhere in Russia and that is my ultimate spooky fantasy. And also probably a reality because prior to seeing this video…
• Google Map streetviewed the entire country of Russia and came to the realization that it is so vast that, without a doubt, all sorts of freaky ass shit goes down there because there are parts where there is no civilization FOR DAYZ
• Shopped for Nordic Sweaters. Bought a French press instead
• Wikipedia’d Santa Claus to learn about his origin
• Discovered Zwarte Piet. WOW.
• Took an Intro to Swedish class. Hej! Vad heter du? Jag heter Katie, trevligt att träffa dig. Var kommer du ifrån? Jag kommer från DC. hej då!!!!
• Read this week’s masterpiece by Drew Magary. I’m very much looking forward to meeting him in a few weeks.
